Platform expertise / ServiceNow

Make ServiceNow work the way your business does.

Aevis helps organisations turn their ServiceNow investment into connected, governed workflows — from first design and implementation through adoption, administration and continuous improvement.

ServiceNow is third-party software selected and licensed by the client. Aevis provides advisory, configuration, integration and operational services around the platform.

Platform fit

One platform. The work still needs design.

Buying the technology creates possibility, not outcomes. The value arrives when workflows reflect real responsibilities, data is trustworthy, integrations are resilient and people know how to use what has been built.

Disconnected processes

Requests cross inboxes, spreadsheets and teams with no dependable owner, status or hand-off.

A platform that grew in pieces

Useful modules exist, but customisation, duplication and inconsistent standards make change slow and upgrades harder.

Low adoption, hidden work

Employees work around the platform when experiences are unclear, leaving reporting incomplete and automation underused.

Our role is to make the platform usable, supportable and accountable in your environment — not to sell an Aevis software product.

Product landscape

Where ServiceNow can support the enterprise.

We shape the engagement around the ServiceNow products your organisation has selected. Scope, entitlements and availability always depend on your licensing and instance.

What stays human

Recommendations are traceable and high-impact actions stay human-approved. Service ownership, risk acceptance, major-incident decisions and any change above the agreed threshold remain accountable human decisions, whatever the platform is capable of automating.

How value is measured

  • AI recommendation acceptance rate
  • Time saved per handled record
  • Grounded-answer success rate
  • Human intervention and fallback rate
  • Autonomous-task completion rate
  • Override and rollback frequency
  • Cost per completed workflow
  • Knowledge reuse and search success

Entitlement

Feature availability depends on the client’s ServiceNow release, subscriptions, entitlements, data readiness and approved architecture. Aevis is not a reseller and claims no certified partnership; product names belong to their respective owners.

Connected architecture

Design the workflow, not another silo.

ServiceNow is most valuable when it coordinates work across the technology landscape. We design clear boundaries between experience, workflow, platform data and systems of record.

Experiences

Portals, mobile, chat, email and agent workspaces give each audience a clear way into the process.

Workflow & automation

Rules, approvals, playbooks, notifications and automation move work between people and systems.

Platform & governance

A shared data model, roles, controls, audit history and reporting make the process manageable.

Enterprise landscape

Cloud, identity, monitoring, HR, ERP, CRM, collaboration and specialist systems remain connected.

Architecture boundaryIntegration methods and available connectors depend on the client environment and relevant ServiceNow subscriptions. We validate architecture and entitlement before committing to a design.

Delivery approach

A controlled path from intent to adoption.

Each stage has a decision, an accountable owner and an observable output. The sequence can support a new implementation, a module rollout or a recovery programme.

Use cases

Start with the work that needs to flow better.

The best starting point is a high-friction journey with clear ownership and measurable delay — not the broadest possible platform scope.

Modernise service operations

Standardise intake, prioritisation, fulfilment and knowledge so teams can resolve work consistently.

Designed outcomeLess avoidable handling and clearer ownership

Automate employee requests

Connect approvals and fulfilment across HR, IT, identity and workplace teams.

Designed outcomeFaster journeys with visible status

Coordinate customer cases

Route issues beyond the contact centre to the teams that can actually resolve them.

Designed outcomeFewer hand-off gaps and better case context

Connect operations to service impact

Bring infrastructure signals and service context together for more informed response.

Designed outcomeBetter prioritisation during disruption

Operationalise security response

Turn findings and vulnerabilities into risk-informed, owned remediation workflows.

Designed outcomeTraceable action from finding to closure

Improve portfolio decisions

Connect demand, capacity, investment and delivery signals for a shared planning view.

Designed outcomeMore transparent prioritisation

Ways to engage

Support matched to the stage you are in.

A platform programme should not force a single commercial model. We define the responsibility boundary before work begins.

Transformation programme

Best forNew implementation or major expansion

A governed, multi-release engagement spanning discovery, implementation and transition.

Focused optimisation sprint

Best forA specific workflow or adoption problem

A time-boxed assessment and improvement cycle with prioritised recommendations and changes.

Managed platform operations

Best forOngoing administration and improvement

Structured demand, release, support, health and governance responsibilities on an agreed cadence.

Co-managed capability

Best forInternal teams needing additional capacity

Aevis works inside your operating model, transferring knowledge while filling defined capability gaps.

Value & measurement

Measure the change in work — not the amount configured.

Targets are set from a client baseline. We do not publish universal improvement claims because results depend on starting position, scope, adoption and decisions outside the platform.

Service performance

Resolution time, ageing, reopen rate and SLA attainment

Flow efficiency

Automation rate, hand-offs, approval time and fulfilment effort

Experience & adoption

Self-service completion, search success, satisfaction and active usage

Platform health

Customisation risk, defects, release cadence and upgrade readiness

Measure from a baseline

At discovery, we agree the baseline, measurement owner and review cadence. That makes value an operating conversation instead of a number attached after delivery.

Platform governance

Build for the next release, not only this one.

Governance protects pace. Clear standards let teams make more decisions safely without turning the instance into a collection of exceptions.

Architecture guardrails

Defined patterns for configuration, customisation, integration, data and non-functional requirements.

Demand & release control

One visible route from idea to prioritisation, build, test, release and outcome review.

Security & access

Role design, separation of duties, data handling and control evidence built into delivery.

Upgrade readiness

Change discipline and regression planning that reduce the cost of staying current.

Knowledge ownership

Decisions, runbooks and operational responsibilities documented for the people who inherit them.

Value governance

A review cadence that connects platform demand to adoption, performance and business priorities.

Why Aevis

Platform expertise with an operator’s perspective.

We approach ServiceNow as part of the client operating environment. The work is designed to survive handover, normal service operations and future change.

Business-led

We begin with the journey, ownership and decision points before translating them into platform work.

Integration-minded

We design around the full technology landscape instead of treating ServiceNow as an isolated destination.

Supportable by design

We favour understandable patterns, documentation and governance over unnecessary customisation.

Flexible responsibility

We can deliver, augment, operate or transfer capability against a boundary agreed with your team.

Testimonials

In their words.

Each testimonial is tied to the service it refers to, so service pages can draw the relevant one automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Questions before a platform conversation.

A clear scope starts with clear boundaries.

Does Aevis sell or own ServiceNow?

No. ServiceNow is third-party software selected and licensed by the client. Aevis provides professional and operational services around the client’s platform environment.

Can you work with an existing ServiceNow instance?

Yes. An engagement can begin with an existing-instance assessment covering process fit, technical health, data, integrations, adoption, governance and the improvement backlog.

Do we need to replace our existing tools?

Not automatically. We first decide what should remain a system of record, what ServiceNow should orchestrate and where integration is more appropriate than replacement.

Can you help with only one workflow or module?

Yes. Focused work may cover one process, integration, portal journey, reporting need, health review or release. The scope does not need to become a platform-wide programme.

How do you avoid over-customising the platform?

We make design decisions against agreed guardrails, use standard capabilities where they fit, document exceptions and include upgrade impact in the decision rather than after it.

Can Aevis support the platform after go-live?

Yes. Ongoing scope can include administration, demand and release operations, defect support, platform health, adoption and continuous improvement, with responsibilities agreed up front.
